Right to Terminate

Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of USA. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
Conference Terms & Conditions
As a registered attendee or participant (“you”) of Bogleheads Conference, (the “Event”), you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below (collectively, the “Agreement”) with The Bogle Center. If you are completing the registration on behalf of another individual, you warrant that you have made the attendee or participant aware of this Agreement and that he, she, or they has accepted these terms and conditions.
Media & Content
By attending the conference, you grant The Bogle Center the right to record, film, photograph and/or capture your likeness. We reserve the right to distribute, broadcast, use or otherwise share those images, without any approval from or any payment to you.
Intellectual Property Rights Ownership
All conference materials, presentations, and recordings are owned by The Bogle Center and/or the individual speakers and presenters.
- Attendee Use: You may use conference materials solely for personal, educational, non-commercial purposes. You may not record any sessions, copy materials, or share content with third parties without written consent.
- Speaker Rights: Speakers retain ownership of their original content while granting The Bogle Center permission to record, broadcast, and distribute their presentations in connection with the Event and related promotional activities.
- Prohibited Activities: Reproduction, distribution, sale, or commercial use of any conference content is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the Event and legal action.
Refund Policy
You can cancel your registration up to 30 days before the conference and you will receive a full refund. You may cancel your registration via email to conor@sparknetwork.com. Cancellations after 30 days before the event are nonrefundable.
Changes
The Bogle Center reserves the right to change any and all aspects of the Event, including but not limited to, themes, content, program, speakers, moderators, venue and times. This does not entitle you to a refund inside of 30 days.
Event Cancellation and Force Majeure
If The Bogle Center cancels the Event for reasons other than force majeure described below (such as insufficient registration, speaker unavailability, or business decisions), all attendees will receive a full refund of registration fees. The Bogle Center is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees.
The “force majeure” clause means that, if there is a natural disaster (fire, flood, hurricane, war, pandemic, etc.), that makes it illegal or impossible to host the event, we will refund your registration fee, but we aren’t liable for your other costs (travel, etc.).
Limited Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the applicable law, The Bogle Center excludes: (a) all liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property at the Event; (b) all indemnities, warranties, representations (whether express or implied); and (c) any actual or alleged indirect loss or consequential loss, any loss of profits, anticipated profits, savings, loss of business revenue, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or any other type of economic loss, suffered by you howsoever arising. If The Bogle Center is liable to you for any reason, The Bogle Center’s total liability to you in relation to the Event (whether under these terms or conditions or otherwise) is limited to the amount of your fees received by The Bogle Center.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas. Any disputes arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Event shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the state of Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Event, the parties agree to resolve such disputes through the following process: (1) first, through good faith negotiation between the parties for a period of thirty (30) days; (2) if negotiation fails, through non-binding mediation administered by a mutually agreed upon mediator or mediation service; and (3) if mediation is unsuccessful, through binding arbitration or litigation in the state or federal courts located in the state of Texas, at the election of the claimant.
Code of Conduct
All attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or any conduct that creates an unsafe environment is prohibited. The Bogle Center reserves the right to immediately remove violators from the Event without refund and ban them from future events. By attending, you agree to comply with all venue rules and applicable laws.
