Mel Lindauer
Mel Lindauer, CFS, WMS, was dubbed “The Prince of the Bogleheads” by Jack Bogle. He’s one of Boglehead forum founders along with Taylor Larimore, and has contributed thousands of posts, helping investors learn the Boglehead way to invest. He is the co-author of two Bogleheads books.

Alan Baker is a Cybersecurity expert. Previously, Alan worked for IBM as a Senior Information Technology Specialist, and ran an internet service provider. Now he helps nonprofits with technology and speaks with community groups about internet security. He is a committed Boglehead and he co-founded the South Bay Bogleheads chapter in 2015.
Greg Dietrich
Greg Dietrich is a Local Chapter favorite giving presentations on a variety of subjects, including The Basics of Indexing, What to do in a Bear Market and How to avoid debt/Getting out of Debt. Greg’s been an investor for nearly 20 years and will admit to making foolish decisions only when pressed. With equal parts pragmatism and enthusiasm he managed to grow a portfolio of index mutual funds from $200 (initial contribution) to…a bit more than this, but enough to backstop his retirement five years ago. He launched Sacramento Area Bogleheads in 2015 because he wanted to know what a Boglehead looked like!–turns out they looked like everyone else.
