The John C. Bogle Center for Financial Literacy (hereafter Bogle Center) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to expand John C. Bogle's legacy by promoting the principles of successful investing and financial well-being through education and community.

What we support
The Bogle Center is the sole owner of the Bogleheads trademark. The trademark is defacto leased to various private parties at no charge with the understanding that those owners use the trademark to support the Bogle Center's non-profit mission. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Bogleheads.org
- Bogleheads book authors and publishers
- The Bogleheads on Investing podcast
- Bogleheads Facebook
- Bogleheads Twitter
- Bogleheads YouTube
- Bogleheads Reddit
- Bogleheads conferences
- Authorized Bogleheads Local Chapters
- Authorized Bogleheads Foreign Chapters
Donations to the Bogle Center may be used to pay certain costs and expenses. These include conference pre-payment costs and the reimbursement of expenses to maintain some of the items above. The owners of Bogleheads.org are provided with an annual amount that the Bogle Center Board of Directors believes covers their entire cost.
Attorneys that represent the Bogle Center believe that authorized users of the Bogleheads trademark may sell products and services for personal gain if the revenue from products and services are reasonable and help support the Bogle Center's mission. Examples include royalties to book authors from the sale of Bogleheads books and the direct solicitation of money by the owners of Bogleheads.org for their personal use.
