We’ll kick off the actual conference with a conversation with Vanguard CEO Salim Ramji, followed by Bogleheads University. As with previous conferences, there will be two tracks: “Bogleheads 101” for investing fundamentals and “Bogleheads 501,” which will cover advanced topics. The day will conclude with a cocktail hour.
Saturday will feature general sessions as well as lifestage-based breakout sessions in the afternoon. One track will be dedicated to “accumulators” and FIRE (financial independence retire early), while the other will be focused on people nearing or in retirement. Note that we will not be holding a banquet this year. Instead, we will be holding a cocktail reception, including the Bogleheads Hall of Fame induction, following Saturday’s sessions. That reception will be free to all conference attendees.
On Sunday, we’ll run general sessions as well as a special breakfast open to all attendees and their guests, even if they are not registered for the conference. Author Cameron Huddleston (Mom and Dad, We Need to Talk) will discuss how families can communicate better about money matters.
